What is workplace stress – why is it different than any other stress?

It just means it is often created by where you work, the job you do or the people you work with – when you are away from it, there is no stress!

Stress managemenet techniques are the same – knowing your triggers and managing them so they don’t create unmanageable problems;  acknowledging that stress if part of life and work i.e. positive stress means you achieve deadlines and do the necessary tasks in atimely manner.
